The occupation arrests 24 citizens in a campaign of raids in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces launched, at dawn today, Wednesday, a campaign of raids and arrests in a number of villages, towns and cities in the various governorates of the West Bank.

According to local sources, the occupation forces have arrested more than 24 citizens, after storming the homes of citizens in Tulkarm, Jenin, Nablus, Bethlehem and Hebron.

The Israeli forces arrested three citizens from the town of Shweika, north of Tulkarm, including Wasim Al-Asaad, Ayman Obaid, and Yusef Muhanna, along with Moamen Mallah, from the city.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Saba´na was arrested from his home in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, while 4 citizens were arrested from the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus.

From Bethlehem, Uday Muhammad al-Amor, Awad Allah Adel al-Amor, the captive Ahmad Oudeh al-Amor, Ahmad Abu Mufrih and Bashar Sabah were arrested.

In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested 4 citizens after storming their homes. They are Hassan Abu Ayyash, Izzat Awad from Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ghattha from al-Fawwar camp, and Ibrahim Abu Awad from Medina.

Another Israeli force arrested the lawyer, Hussam Al-Deek (30 years old), from the town of Kafr Al-Deek in Salfit, after storming his home and seizing his mobile phone and personal computer.

A military force also arrested 5 citizens from the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem. They are Odeh Askar, Bashar Askar, Ahmed Ali Al-Khatib, Qusay Hamid Al-Khatib, and Fadi Hamed Al-Khatib.

In a related context, hundreds of settlers stormed Yusef´s tomb, east of Nablus, to perform Talmudic prayers under the protection of the Israeli army, as clashes took place with a number of young men in the area, who the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters and rubber bullets towards them without reporting injuries.

A military force ordered the demolition of Arish and retaining walls at the Abu Al-Yusr site, in the Fagor area, west of the town of Al-Khader, in the Bethlehem governorate, owned by Rami Sobeih.
