Gaza: A team of young Palestinian women gets creative in installing solar cells

A team of young Palestinian women trained in the Gaza Strip had a unique experiment, which was their work in installing solar cells on rooftops.

The team installed solar panels on the roof of a school in the Khan Yunis governorate in the southern Gaza Strip, and among the 20-year-old young women Ramah Al-Buheisi, who supervises this team in the field.

It is noteworthy that the young women have completed their training according to the study plan for Alternative Energy and Solar Panels Diploma at the UNRWA Institute (GTC) in Gaza. 

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics data indicated an increase in the unemployment rate in the Gaza Strip during the second quarter of 2020, by 3.6 percent compared to the previous quarter of this year, as the unemployment rate reached 49.1 percent.
