Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns demolition of homes of citizens in Palestinian territories

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the escalation in the expansionist colonial operations and procedures of the occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory, the latest of which was the wholesale demolition of homes as happened in Birzeit and the Al-Tirah neighborhood in Ramallah. From a house in al-Mukabbar, occupied Jerusalem, other than settler attacks and the permissibility of land.

The Ministry also condemned, in a statement issued by it, the continuous attack launched by the occupation on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the decisions of deportation and abuse of clerics and employees in the Islamic Endowments Department, the most recent of which was the handing over of Bakirat by the Deputy Director General of Jerusalem Endowments, a decision to remove him from the Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week.

The Ministry emphasized that the Trump administration´s complete bias to the occupation and its policies and the announcement of the ominous plot of the century encouraged the occupation state and its settlers to implement its expansionist settlement plans and projects, and released the hands of settlers broadly to tolerate the occupied Palestinian land, and intensified their attacks against Palestinian citizens, their property and their homes.

The Foreign Ministry considered that the escalation of the occupation procedures and measures, such as seizing lands, bulldozing and demolishing homes, settlements, and others, are only preparatory steps for the annexations that were mentioned in the deal of the century that Netanyahu promised to implement.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the opposition of the international community to the deal of the century must be accompanied by practical measures and steps, so that this opposition is translated through a firm international stance in the face of these Israeli plans to implement the deal of the century without any waiting, and gradually on the ground.

She called for a rapid awakening through which the international community recovers its real role in rapid movement in a manner that equals the risks of implementing this deal on the ground.
