During a mass festival, the factions in Gaza: It is no longer possible to calm down in exchange for economic and livelihood aggression

The Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip affirmed, today, Saturday, their refusal to equate calm in exchange for the continued Israeli occupation in its economic, living and life siege amid coordination from the international community.

This came during a massive public festival called “The Sword of Jerusalem will not be sheathed,” which was held in Queen’s Square, east of Gaza City, with the participation of factions and wide popularity, coinciding with the arrival of hundreds of young men to the security fence near the festival, before the occupation forces fired live and rubber bullets and gas at them. resulted in the injury of a number of them.

Jamil Muzher, a leader in the Popular Movement, said during a speech to him, speaking on behalf of the factions, that “our people, who were united by the battle of the sword of Jerusalem throughout the homeland and the diaspora, will not be intimidated by siege or starvation, nor will they be separated by the fire of aggression and terrorism, and they will remain one united.”

Mezher added, "If Gaza goes hungry, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Lydda and Ramle will feed it from the flesh of its usurpers."

Mezher held the Israeli occupation and the international community fully responsible for the continued suffering of the Palestinian people through closure, starvation and siege, saying, “We say it frankly: Gaza does not accept blackmail and it is no longer possible for this situation to continue... This policy will not break our will and will not achieve its goals, and it is no longer possible to continue in Calmness in return for continued economic, livelihood and life aggression by this enemy and coherence from the international community, and the will and unity of our people will remain capable of confronting this aggression and extracting our people’s rights to dignity, freedom, independence and return.”

He added, "The time for singling out any part of the homeland is over. The sword of Jerusalem will not be sheathed, and any attack on any part of Palestine in Jerusalem, the West Bank and the occupied interior is an attack on all Palestinians, which gives the resistance in Gaza as in the diaspora, the West Bank and Jerusalem the right to respond to it."

The leader of the Popular Movement praised the unity that the Palestinian people made their way through with resistance and unity on the ground, which he said “requires the implementation of the decisions of the National and Central Councils and the national consensus to disengage from the occupation and liberate the national institution from the requirements of the International Quartet by disengaging from the Oslo Agreement and its political, security and economic commitments, leaving the bet and building Expectations on the course of absurd negotiations.”

Mezher said, "Any attempt to evoke this approach through direct return to direct negotiations with the occupation or through understandings with the American administration is doomed to failure."

Mezher added, “Gaza today is Noah’s Ark for all Palestinians. Protecting it is a duty and strengthening its steadfastness is an inclusive national mission, and with it we flatter our people as a sword in the face of Zionist settler terrorism, which requires a responsible national dialogue that rebuilds the Palestinian political system on the basis of a national, comprehensive resistance to our people in the homeland and in the diaspora. The national responsibility requires all of us to take urgent measures to contribute to strengthening the steadfastness of our people in its open confrontation with the enemy and its terror machine, especially in Jerusalem, which is fighting on behalf of all Palestinians.

The Palestinian leader stressed that the people decided to drop the terrorism of administrative detention united behind their hunger strikers with a legal and field support program, holding the international community responsible for these terrorist policies, calling on the International Criminal Court to take its powers to stop administrative detention and prosecute the occupation leaders for its crimes against our people.

He also stressed the need for the cohesion of unity and the correction of internal relations between brothers and comrades in arms, as a basic and necessary step and regulator for strengthening the unity and safety of the Palestinian home front as a basis for our national liberation project. like he said.

For his part, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, said during a speech on the phone, that the occupation did not stop harming Al-Aqsa Mosque, and that its aggression did not stop at all moments.

In his short speech, Sheikh Sabri stressed that the residents of the Holy City will remain the faithful guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, because it is a trust in their necks as it is a trust in the necks of all Muslims in the world.

Sheikh Sabri called on Muslims in the world, whose number exceeds two billion, to protect Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa and stand by the people of Palestine.

The preacher of Al-Aqsa valued the efforts and sacrifices of the people of Gaza, praying to God to protect it and its people.
