The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Saturday, the registration of three deaths, 862 new infections with the "Corona" virus, and 144 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila said that the new deaths were recorded as follows: Salfit (1), Gaza Strip (2).
She added that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm (73), Salfit (15), Nablus (146), Qalqilya (20), Jenin (29), Tubas (7), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (33), Bethlehem (6) ), Jericho and the Jordan Valley (1), Hebron (2), Gaza Strip (530), noting that 4,169 tests were conducted.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Tulkarm (12), Salfit (1), Nablus (25), Qalqilya (3), Jenin (28), Tubas (59), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (109), Bethlehem ( 3), Hebron (2), Gaza Strip (55).
She stated that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine was 96.7%, while the percentage of active infections was 2.2%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 30 injured people in intensive care rooms, while 87 people are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including 6 on artificial respirators.
With regard to the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 693,977, of whom 436,668 received both doses of the vaccine.
