The Hebrew Ynet website reported, at dawn today, Saturday, that 6 Jews from the United States of America and Canada died in what has been described as the "Meron disaster" in Safed, which occurred at dawn yesterday and led to the death of 45 Jews Religious.
According to the site, 4 of the "victims" are from the United States, and 2 from Canada.
And US President Joe Biden called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday, offered him condolences, and instructed to provide the necessary assistance to Israel.
Canada´s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered condolences on the death of two of his country´s Jews, expressing his readiness to provide all possible assistance.
