According to data from the center of "Jerusalem" Studies, 36 Palestinians were martyred by bullets and assaults by the Israeli occupation during May last month, including 34 from Gaza and two from the West Bank.
According to the Jerusalem Center for Israeli and Palestinian studies, the number of martyrs since the proclamation Trump Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying Power has risen to 448 in various parts of occupied Palestine.

In the statistics, a copy of which was received by Al-Quds Press, he noted that among the martyrs (448) were 98 children, 18 women and 6 persons with special needs.
He added: "21 martyrs were risen during the preparation and equipping, and 73 were killed as a result of the Israeli shelling."
Among the martyrs were eight prisoners in the occupation jails, and al-Ghazzi, who had been assassinated in Malaysia, was killed.
The study showed that the martyrs of the return marches on the borders of the eastern Gaza Strip increased until the end of the month April 2019 to 249 martyrs, including two journalists, and three medical personnel.

The center noted that 10 prisoners were martyred after being arrested by the Israeli occupation army, raising the martyrs of the captive movement from 1967 to 220 martyrs, most of them prisoner Omar Awni Younis from Nablus.
The same study drew attention to the fact that the occupation authorities were holding in refrigerators belonging to the Israeli police and the graves of figures, the bodies of 28 martyrs, since the proclamation Trump Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying Power.
