Today, Monday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of 5 deaths, 1,366 new cases of corona, and 382 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 96.3%, while the percentage of active infections was 2.6%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarem 109, Qalqilya 52, Nablus 266, Tubas 28, Salfit 27, Jenin 49, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 8, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 71, Jerusalem suburbs 8, Hebron 40, Bethlehem 3, Gaza Strip 663, Jerusalem 42.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Tulkarem 16, Qalqilya 7, Nablus 90, Tubas 4, Salfit 2, Jenin 5, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 42, Jerusalem suburbs 3, Hebron 2, Bethlehem 1, Gaza Strip.” Gaza 145, Jerusalem 64.
And 5 deaths were recorded as a result of infection with the virus, including 3 cases in the Gaza Strip, one in Jenin and another in Salfit.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 31 patients in intensive care rooms, while 96 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 712,501, of whom 439,024 received the two doses of the vaccine.
