62 wounded by Israeli gunfire on Friday 85 return marches

Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured, Friday evening, by Israeli occupation bullets and gas, after suppressing the activities of the peaceful return marches on the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews dealt with 62 live and metal bullets coated with rubber and tear gas in the Gaza Strip.

The Medical Association said in a statement, that its crews provided ambulance for 9 injuries in the North Governorate and 3 in Gaza, in addition to 14 injuries in Al-Wusta and 27 in Khan Yunis, in addition to 9 injuries in Rafah.

It showed that 4 Palestinians were wounded with live ammunition, 33 with rubber coated metal, in addition to 14 cases of suffocation with tear gas, 9 grenades and one with various injuries, in addition to one violation.

According to the Ministry of Health, medical teams in hospitals dealt with 30 different injuries during the occupation´s suppression of the 85th Friday of the March of Return activities and the peaceful siege breaking in the eastern Gaza Strip.

In a brief statement, the Ministry of Health indicated that 8 civilians were wounded by live bullets by the Israeli occupation forces in the Friday of "Hebron, in order to prevent Judaization."

Among the injured, she said, was a Palestinian woman who had a rubber-coated metal bullet in her right eye, and a child who had a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head.

Local sources and eyewitnesses indicated that the photographer, Thaer Abu Rayash, was wounded by a rubber bullet in the northern Gaza Strip.
