The United Nations Human Rights Commission condemned the continued killing of Palestinian children by the Israeli occupation forces .
In a statement, the commission noted what happened on March 11, when Israeli soldiers killed the 15-year-old child, Mohammed Hamayel, after he was wounded with a live bullet in the head during clashes in the Jabal Al-Arma area in Beita, south of Nablus . The authority said that the Palestinians had been demonstrating for nearly two weeks in the Jabal Al-Arma region after a settlement group announced its intention to tour the area, which includes an archaeological site, amid fears of settlers taking the area . It noted that the occupation forces have used excessive force, including live bullets, to disperse the Palestinian demonstrators who gathered at the site in an attempt to prevent settlers from entering the area. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 132 Palestinians were injured during these clashes, including two Palestinians who were wounded with live ammunition and 30 wounded with rubber bullets . The UN Human Rights Committee pointed out that since the beginning of 2020, the occupation forces have killed 4 Palestinian children, and also killed 28 children in 2019 .
