The occupation suppresses worshipers at the Ibrahimi Mosque

Dozens of worshipers suffocated today, Friday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on them, at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.

The occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the worshipers, causing dozens of suffocation to suffocate, and intensified their military presence at the gates of the Haram and its surroundings.

Since the morning, the citizens flocked to the Ibrahimi Mosque and performed Friday prayers in its corridors and external courtyards, in response to the call of the Ministry of Awqaf to reinforce its presence and protect it from Judaization, and in rejection of the occupation’s policy and procedures, the latest of which was the establishment of an electric “elevator” to divide the campus and reinforce its seizure.

The Director of Endowments in Hebron, Jamal Abu Aram, said, in a statement issued by the ministry, that the occupation closed several entrances to the sanctuary, and expelled the worshipers from its courtyards, stressing that “the activities that reject the occupation’s plans will continue and we will not allow the sanctuary to be harmed.”

The director of the Haram, Hefzy Abu Sneina, denounced the attack carried out by the occupation army on the worshipers, and the assault on them while they were leaving the campus.

For its part, the Hebron Endowments Directorate called on citizens to strengthen their presence in the Ibrahimi Mosque, which the occupation seeks to empty of worshipers, to complete the settlement and Judaization projects against it.
