Israeli military forces arrested five people, including two children, in several areas of the West Bank early Sunday morning, police said.

According to a military spokesman, the majority of the detainees in the bank were "wanted" for the security services and had been transferred for questioning by the officers of the "Shabak" device.

He noted that the army had confiscated funds from the city of Hebron on the pretext that they had been used by "terrorist" organizations.

Among the detainees were the children of Baha Shakarneh from Nahal, Fawzi Mutawa from the Beit Jabarin (Azza) Camp north of Bethlehem and the successor of Fadi Nagfare from Nahal.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested Yousef Mohammed Hijazi, 13, from his home at dawn, a resident of the Ayn al-Tonzah neighbourhood of Silwan in central Jerusalem.
