Palestinians killed for alleged stabbing in Jerusalem

Two Palestinian boys were shot dead by Israeli occupying forces thursday evening for allegedly stabbing an Israeli policeman in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Israeli media reported that a policeman was moderately injured in the stabbing attack in Jerusalem, adding that israeli forces had opened fire on the perpetrators and later announced their deaths.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said a palestinian, whose identity has not yet been identified, was killed and two others wounded by israeli troops in the Old City of Jerusalem on Thursday evening.

Following the operation, settlers and israeli forces opened fire at the residents in the vicinity, injuring Imran al-Rajabi, a guard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Firas al-Debs, director of information at the Islamic Waqf department in Jerusalem, said the israeli occupation forces closed the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented access to it.
