The Prisoner’s Club said that the occupation forces caused the detainee Louay Ziyad Abu Zaitoun (24 years), from the town of Deir al-Ghusun in Tulkarm, to disfigure his face and severely damage the retina of his left eye.
The occupation forces had arrested Abu Zaytoun, along with 5 other citizens from Deir al-Ghusun town, and released him today, Wednesday.
Abu Zaitoun explained to the Prisoner’s Club that an occupying army force threw a stun grenade in his face before his arrest, and he was beaten on his feet. He was transferred to the Israeli “Meir” Hospital, before being released.
Abu Zaitoun, who is staying in Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarm, explained that he suffers from a disfigurement in his face, severe fractures in his nose, and significant damage to the retina of his left eye.
The Prisoner´s Club considered that what happened with Abu Zaitoun is a crime in addition to the thousands of daily crimes carried out and implemented by the occupation forces against the detainees during the process of their arrest, and the subsequent abusive operations.
