Israeli occupying forces arrested four Palestinian citizens from various parts of the occupied West Bank at dawn on Friday.
In a statement issued today, the occupying army acknowledged the arrest of four Palestinians who described them as "wanted", accusing them of engaging in activities related to popular resistance against Israeli targets.
He added that he had transferred the detainees to the competent authorities for further investigation.
The Israeli occupation carries out daily arrests of Palestinian citizens, claiming suspicion of their intentions to carry out operations against Israeli targets.
The number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is 6,000, of whom 53 are women, of whom 3 are underage, while the number of children detained is 300, and 420 administrative detainees are in Israeli jails, according to an updated statistic from the Palestinian Prisoners Club Association.
