Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz renewed, today, Monday, his conditions for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and the strengthening and prosperity of its economy with the return of prisoners and missing persons held by Hamas.
Gantz said in statements during his party’s meeting in the Knesset, that what was previously will not be at this stage, and without the return of the “children” and he means the captured soldiers, the situation in Gaza will not be improved and there will be no calm and stability.
He stressed that the Palestinian Authority and Egypt will have an important and vital role in the reconstruction of the Strip.
Regarding the vaccine crisis, the Israeli Defense Minister said, “We are interested in vaccinating our Palestinian neighbors with the Corona vaccine, and Israel has a medical and security interest in that, and I am happy that the Palestinian Authority will return to the vaccine agreement (..) We will find a better solution for all parties.”
