A spokesman for the national movement to break the siege on Saturday announced the launch of a new ship from the Gaza Strip to Cyprus with the aim of breaking the maritime blockade of the strip.
Abu Salamiyeh told a press conference at the Gaza port that the ship to be named "Freedom Ship 3" would start Sunday afternoon from the port towards the port of Cyprus. Calling on the Palestinians to send farewell to the participants who will leave through the ship.
He stressed that the Commission would continue its movement and conduct of naval vessels to break the siege from within and outside the sector, noting that this was part of the ongoing peaceful popular struggle to break the siege and end the suffering of Gaza, which is worth living and living in dignity.
Abu Salamiyeh condemned the Israeli attack on the Freedom boat, which was carrying foreign solidarity off the coast of Gaza at dawn on Sunday. Considering what has been a new crime and a clear piracy against those vessels that aim to break the blockade of the strip.
He called on the international community to put pressure on the occupation to end the suffering of Gaza. The occupation is fully responsible for the lives of the people who were kidnapped on board the Freedom ship.
