Today, Tuesday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 16 deaths, 1,870 new injuries and 2,395 recoveries have been recorded in the country during the last 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tubas 42, Tulkarm 118, Jenin 192, Qalqilya 47, Jerusalem suburbs 22, Jericho and Al Aghwar 22, Nablus 225, Hebron 188, Salfit 32, Bethlehem 54, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 90” 53, Gaza Strip, 785, Jerusalem.
Al-Kailah added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tubas 47, Tulkarm 214, Jenin 191, Qalqilya 89, Jerusalem suburbs 53, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 18, Nablus 240, Hebron 520, Salfit 63, Bethlehem 166, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 168. Gaza Strip 300, Jerusalem 326.
9 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 4, Qalqilya 2, Nablus 2, Hebron 1”, 6 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, and one death in Jerusalem.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 213 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 68 patients on artificial respirators, while 694 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 73,964, of whom 7978 received the two doses of the vaccine.
