The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Thursday, three deaths, 486 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 172 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that the three deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 24, Tubas 12, Jenin 29, Tulkarm 22, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 10, Nablus 47, Salfit 6, Jerusalem suburbs 4, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 40, Bethlehem 3, Hebron 2, Gaza Strip.” Gaza 287".
She added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: "Jenin 11, Tulkarm 10, Nablus 17, Salfit 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 3, Gaza Strip 130."
And it indicated that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.1%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.8%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
She pointed out that there are 11 people infected with the “Corona” virus in intensive care rooms, while 27 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including two patients on ventilators.
With regard to the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 626,279, of whom 426,973 received both doses of the vaccine.
