The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday evening that it recorded one death and 33 new cases of the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours, raising the total death toll to 239, while the number of active infections stabilized at 5434 patients.
According to the data provided by the ministry in its daily evening output on the developments of the Corona virus, the total number of infections since the epidemic spread was 16,310, while 174 patients recovered during the past 24 hours, an increase of 1.7%, bringing the number of people recovering to 10,637 people.
Official data showed a decrease in the number of active injuries by 142 cases during the past 24 hours. The ministry explained that "61 patients are in moderate condition, 89 patients are in serious condition, 69 of them have been connected to the ventilator."
Serious injuries requiring a respirator decreased during the past 24 hours, by 2.8%, and the proportion of people recovering by 1.7%, while the death rate increased by 0.4%.
The data indicated that 244 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, including serious and moderate conditions, while 5190 patients are undergoing home treatment and in hotels prepared for Corona patients
