The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Wednesday, the registration of 159 new cases of corona and 92 cases of recovery, in the last 24 hours.
She explained that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.6%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.3%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Jenin 15, Tubas 2, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 2, Tulkarm 3, Nablus 6, Hebron 6, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 5, Bethlehem 1, Gaza Strip 119.”
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Jenin 9, Tubas 1, Hebron 7, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Gaza Strip 74.”
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 10 patients in intensive care rooms, while 15 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including one patient on a respirator.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus reached 582,721 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including 412,136 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
