The Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Today, Friday, May Al-Kailah reported that 5 deaths, 722 new cases of coronavirus, and 813 recoveries were recorded, after examining 4,252 samples during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report, Minister Al-Kailah pointed out that 3 cases died in Jerusalem, while the others were from Nablus and Tulkarm in the West Bank.
It indicated that 250 cases were registered in Jerusalem, 293 in the West Bank, and 179 in Gaza.
While recovery cases were distributed by 205 in Jerusalem, 340 in the West Bank, and 268 in Gaza.
She pointed out that the recovery rate in Palestine reached 94.0%, while the rate of active injuries reached 4.9%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all injuries.
The number of patients in intensive care reached: 61, while 17 patients were on artificial respirators.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “The suburbs of Jerusalem (9), Salfit (36), Hebron (45), Tulkarm (21), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (58), Qalqilya (9), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (13), Bethlehem (33), Tubas (10), Nablus (36), Jenin (23), Gaza Strip (179), Jerusalem (250).
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “The suburbs of Jerusalem (29), Salfit (23), Hebron (30), Tulkarm (12), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (141), Qalqilya (4), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (0), Beit Lahm (11), Tubas (15), Nablus (57), Jenin (18), Gaza Strip (268), Jerusalem (205)
