The Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, that two deaths and 426 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The ministry said in a statement that the deaths were recorded in the Hebron governorate, one of which was announced to a woman from Al-Fawwar camp, and the second to a 58-year-old woman from Idhna.
She explained that during the last 24 hours, 6 deaths, 426 new injuries, and 496 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours, noting that 4 deaths out of the total toll, and 220 injuries were recorded in Jerusalem alone.
It indicated that the new casualties were distributed in 9 governorates: Hebron (112), Nablus (8), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (4), Bethlehem (25), Qalqilya (5), Jenin (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (19). Tulkarm (13), Jerusalem governorate (239), including (220) inside Jerusalem, and (19) in the suburbs.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 10 patients in the intensive care rooms, while no patient is placed on artificial respirators.
With regard to recoveries, the ministry said that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine has recorded a new increase, as the percentage has reached 55%, while the city of Jerusalem continues to record an increase in the number of infections.
It added that new cases of recovery were recorded in Tulkarm Governorate (5), Hebron Governorate (144), Nablus Governorate (42), Jenin Governorate (3), Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate (2), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (300).
