The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority said that the Israeli occupation forces have carried out more than (130,000) cases since the outbreak of the Al-Aqsa Intifada on September 28, 2000, affecting all Palestinians and did not exclude anyone, male or female , young. And adults, including (20) thousand cases of arrest of minor children, and (2500) Palestinian girls and women.


According to the commission, the occupation authorities issued more than (30,000) administrative detention decisions, between a new decision or the appointment of administrative detention.


Since the outbreak of the Jerusalem Intifada, 108 Palestinians have been martyred after their arrest, as a result of torture, medical negligence or willful killing, which raised the list of martyrs of the captive national movement to (231), in addition to dozens of Others who were martyred shortly after their release from prison, affected by diseases they inherited from prisons. .


Today, September 28, marks the 22nd anniversary of the outbreak of the second Palestinian Intifada (the Al-Aqsa Intifada), which erupted as a result of the provocative visit by then-right-wing opposition Ariel Sharon to the courtyard of Al- Aqsa Mosque under the protection of two thousand Israeli soldiers and border guards.
