The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Monday, the registration of a death, 620 new cases of corona, and 184 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
She explained that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 97.7%, while the percentage of active infections was 1.2%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarem 45, Nablus 96, Salfit 17, Tubas 11, Jenin 51, Qalqilya 13, Jerusalem suburbs 5, Bethlehem 7, Hebron 14, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 2, Gaza Strip 315.”
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Tulkarem 7, Nablus 17, Jenin 7, Qalqilya 3, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 12, Bethlehem 2, Hebron 2, Gaza Strip 135.”
She pointed out that there are 21 patients in intensive care rooms, while 36 patients are being treated in corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including two patients on ventilators, and a death was recorded as a result of infection with the virus in the city of Nablus during the past 24 hours.
The total number of citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 648,395, of whom 429,818 received the two doses of the vaccine.
