The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of a death, 423 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 127 cases of recovery, during the last 24 hours.
In the epidemiological report on the “Corona” virus in Palestine, Al-Kaila explained that the death case as a result of infection with the virus was recorded in the Gaza Strip, noting that the new infections were recorded as follows: Qalqilya 13, Nablus 64, Tulkarm 18, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7, Tubas 7. Salfit 5, Bethlehem 7, Jenin 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 17, Hebron 4, Gaza Strip 270.
She added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: Nablus 6, Bethlehem 1, Jenin 11, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 4, Hebron 5, Gaza Strip 100, noting that the recovery rate from the virus in Palestine amounted to 98.1%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.8 The death rate is 1.1% of all injuries.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 12 patients in intensive care rooms, while 31 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including two patients on respirators.
With regard to the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, Al-Kaila indicated that their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 634,555, including 427,925 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
