Today, Monday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 17 deaths, 1080 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 2,058 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah said that new deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Hebron (6), Tulkarm (2), and the Gaza Strip (9).
She added that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm (55), Qalqilya (21), Jenin (89), Nablus (135), Tubas (16), Hebron (85), the suburbs of Jerusalem (7), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (62). ), Bethlehem (13), Salfit (3), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (3), and the Gaza Strip (591), indicating that 4,572 tests were performed.
Al-Kailah explained that the new cases of recovery were divided according to the following: Tulkarm (124), Qalqilya (19), Jenin (54), Nablus (287), Tubas (24), Hebron (10), the suburbs of Jerusalem (75), Ramallah and Al-Bireh ( 28), Bethlehem (28), Salfit (5), Jericho and Al Aghwar (4), Gaza Strip (1350).
She indicated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 91.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 7.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 137 injured persons in intensive care rooms, 41 of whom are on artificial respirators, while 397 injured are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations, she confirmed that their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 249,746, of whom 157,701 received the two doses of the vaccine.
