The Israeli army has received instructions from the political level to deal with Gaza wisely, the Hebrew Canal said Saturday evening.
The channel claimed that the political level had been made clear in its instructions to the army leadership that it wanted to deal wisely with the situation in Gaza, in order not to eliminate the chances of reaching an agreement with the Hamas movement.
The army said Saturday it was forced to strike warning shots against the fire-fighter planes without hitting them because of the large number of fires that broke out in a short time.
The Israeli cabinet will hold a meeting on Sunday to discuss an agreement with Hamas brokered by Egypt and the United Nations.
