11 deaths and 8,657 new infections with “Corona”

Today, Sunday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced the registration of 11 deaths, 8,657 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 1,023 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.

In the epidemiological report on the virus in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that 7 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, two cases in Tubas, one case in Tulkarm, and one case in Jenin as a result of infection with the virus.

She indicated that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarm 449, Jerusalem suburbs 165, Hebron 541, Qalqilya 179, Salfit 210, Nablus 873, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1071, Bethlehem 368, Jenin 337, Tubas 96, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 163, Gaza Strip 1345, Jerusalem 2860.

She pointed out that there are 70 patients in intensive care rooms, while 150 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 22 on ventilators.

She said that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 90,491.7%, while the rate of active infections was 8.7%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections.

Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Tulkarm 49, Jerusalem suburbs 60, Hebron 126, Qalqilya 13, Salfit 25, Nablus 112, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 241, Bethlehem 157, Jenin 43, Tubas 17, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 50, Gaza Strip 130.
