Hong Kong suspends all flights for the second day in a row

Hong Kong International Airport suspended all flights departing from the city on Tuesday for the second consecutive day due to anti-government demonstrations.

The airport authority said the suspension would affect all flights, which were not registered by 4:30 pm, adding that incoming flights at one of the world's busiest airports would be allowed to land.

The cancellation will affect thousands of passengers stranded in Hong Kong after the airport canceled flights from Monday evening to 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday due to protests.
