An 88-year-old Israeli died Friday evening of being infected with the emerging corona virus.
This is the first death registered with the Israeli Ministry of Health, since the virus began to circulate in Israel about 4 weeks ago.
He died in Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
The hospital said that the deceased was transferred to them about a week ago and was in the isolated ward of patients with Corona patients, and he was in serious condition and has many diseases.
He indicated that his condition had significantly deteriorated in the past few hours.
On Friday morning, the Israeli Ministry of Health said that 705 of the Israelis are infected with Coronavirus, 10 of them are in serious condition, and 4 are in critical condition.
