The European Union (EU) warned on Friday that a new conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip erupted after the recent confrontations, calling for no more civilians to be endangered.
"The escalation of violence in recent days has seriously brought Gaza and Israel closer to a new conflict," a spokeswoman for the EU foreign Affairs said in a statement.
