A child succumbed to his wounds during clashes with the occupation near Ramallah

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday evening, December 4, 2020, the recovery of the child who was shot in the abdomen by the live occupation.

The ministry said in a brief statement published on its Facebook page that the child was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in a critical condition, before being consulted.

The 14-year-old was shot in the abdomen by the israeli occupation, along with four young men with rubber-coated metal bullets, on Friday during clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers in the village of Al-Mughir, northeast of Ramallah.

The head of the village council of the expatriate, Amen Abu Alia, told the official news agency that clashes broke out between youths and Israeli soldiers at the eastern entrance to The Village, during which soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas canisters, resulting in a child being shot in the abdomen, and then taken to the Palestinian medical complex in Ramallah, where she was described as critical.

Abu Alia said four young men were hit by rubber-coated metal bullets during the encounters, which were treated with medana.

In the past, the israeli occupation forces have suppressed a massacre that started from the centre of the village towards the Ras al-Tin area of the territory of Kafr Malik in the east, condemning the construction of the occupation to establish a new settlement outpost, resulting in dozens of cases of suffocation with tear gas.
