The Presidency condemns the attempt by an Israeli terrorist settler to burn down Gethsemane Church in Jerusalem

today, Friday, the Palestinian presidency condemned an attempt by an Israeli terrorist settler to burn the Church of Gethsemane in occupied Jerusalem.

The presidency called on the international community to provide protection for our people and its Christian and Islamic holy places.

The Presidency held the Israeli government responsible for the continued attacks by settlers against our people, their property and their holy sites, stressing that these repeated attacks on Christian and Islamic religious sites are evidence of the barbarity and brutality of settlers, who practice terrorism in its ugliest form, under the sight and hearing of the Israeli occupation forces.

The presidency saluted the vigilance of our people stationed in Jerusalem, which prevented the settler from completing his crime.
