The foreign ministers of France, Germany, Egypt and Jordan confirmed that no changes to the 1967 borders were agreed upon by the parties to the conflict.

The Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Ayman Ayman Al-Safadi said after a meeting held today: .

He added: We agreed that this step will have serious consequences for the security and stability of the region, and will constitute a major obstacle to efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace, and this step can also have consequences for the relationship with Israel.

Al-Safadi and the foreign ministers of France, Germany and Egypt affirmed the firm commitment to the negotiated two-state solution on the basis of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, noting that a discussion was held on how to re-start fruitful engagement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, and to provide our support in facilitating the course of the negotiations.
