Some 500 extremist settlers stormed the holy Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday morning.
The media official of the Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem, Firas al-Debs, said that the settlers stormed the mosque with heavy security by the Israeli occupation police.
The number of settler settlers is likely to rise until noon, after right-wing groups called for an intensification of incursions during the week-long Jewish throne Day, which began on Monday.
