The New York Times reported that President Donald Trump is planning to sign a presidential decree to fight anti-Semitism and Israel in American universities and colleges.
The Hebrew newspaper, Israel Hume, reported on Wednesday, "The New York Times" that the main decision will include cutting funding for all institutions suspected of promoting anti-Semitic activity.
The newspaper pointed out that the decision mainly targets the international boycott movement against Israel, which is widespread in many American universities and colleges.
Critics of the US move against the boycott see such decisions as violating the right to freedom of expression for defenders of the anti-Israel movement.
The newspaper notes, that at least 27 US states have passed laws trying to curb the international boycott movement.
